Description
Systems Engineer required to work within the Electronic Architecture team, and reporting to the EA Design Authority the successful candidate will be responsible for the systems engineering definition of the Health and Usage Monitoring (HUMS) design. The role will encompass liaison with the Supportability team, equipment manufacturers, Systems Engineering Team, internal Integrated Project Teams (IPT) and a variety of other stakeholders to pull together the overall system design and behaviour.
The successful candidate will have the below skills:
Excellent knowledge of various Systems Engineering life cycle concepts
Ability to use innovation and traditional methods to develop technical solutions to both simple and more complex problems.
Development and maintenance of Requirements using DOORS.
Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Development and management of System level architecture models using UML/SysML.
Trade Study analysis against system component behaviour and specifications
Knowledge of Through Life Cost Modelling
Experience of Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and System Readiness Level (SRL) assessment.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting proceedure.
