A innovative and forward thinking retailer are currently seeking a Sharepoint Architect for a greenfield implementation of SharePoint 2013.Summary:
Serve as the primary Architect for analysis, design, development, and project management for SharePoint. Duties include but not limited to SharePoint web work flows, site collections, managing security, maintaining and customizing SharePoint sites using SharePoint Designer. This position will be responsible for software migrations, upgrades, patches, the SharePoint farm, and monitoring/maintaining all SharePoint servers. This position will serve as the company's subject matter expert on SharePoint and will include mentoring and interfacing with end users to provide solid solutions.
Responsibilities
* The SharePoint Developer/Architect will define architecture and provide development road maps
* Architect and design SharePoint environments for maximum flexibility, reliability and scalability
* Provide expertise, lead technical meetings, and communicate effectively with departments and users
* Clearly identify requirements, technical feasibility and effort estimates of projects
* Provide project management and subject matter expertise
* Assess business requirements and consult on functional specifications
* Design and implement specific solutions including where necessary integration of third party packages
* Coordinate with vendors as necessary
* Interact with developers
* Application integration involving business process and forms, Business Intelligence, collaboration, enterprise content management, and portals.
* Understanding and knowledge of SharePoint BI reporting tools (e.i. Excel Services, Power View and PerformancePoint
Requirements:
* Five to seven years of progressive SharePoint experience up to the Architect level
* .NET development and Visual Studio a plus
* Must have experience designing applications, platforms, test environments, ongoing monitoring and maintenance
* Experience with SQL Server
* Experience with IIS, Windows Server experience a plus
Additional Skills:
* Experience with SharePoint Workflow tools Must possess excellent problem solving, organization, communication and leadership skill
* Very strong communication skills and user interaction experience
* Certifications in SharePoint a plus
* Understanding and knowledge of SharePoint BI reporting tools (e.i. Excel Services, Power View and PerformancePoint
* Experience with in a SQL database environment

Rate:£495 per day
