I am looking for a Management Accountant to join a top financial organisation based in Brentwood Essex. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new transfer agency project within their business.Responsibilities-
To prepare and submit monthly management accounts packs and associated reconciliations together with Regulatory returns which may include IMA, UCITS and VAT returns.
Identification and clearance of variances.
Provide ad hoc analysis, information and reconciliations as required by external auditors, internal departments and clients.
Deal with technical queries from other members of Management Accounts, internal departments and clients.
Amend and review procedures where necessary.
Liaise with clients, external auditors and internal departments to ensure that good communications and working relationships are maintained.
Deliver training to Accounting Technicians on job requirements and technical areas where necessary.
Monthly invoicing of Management Service Charge (MSC) fee to Trustees / Depositaries.
Settlement of expenses and rebates
May require periods of mainframe & data input.
Requirements-
Experienced management accountant
Financial Services background would be preferred
Transfer Agency/ UCITS experience- would be an advantage
Excellent communication skills
Contract role based in Brentwood, Essex
12 month initial contract
