Description
Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot software, network and RF failures
- Write and update manual test procedures
- Track and execute first level of debug on issues detected, collect diagnostic data
- Generate Defect Reports in JIRA defect database, write clear and detailed problem descriptions
- Configure networks & hardware and troubleshoot network & hardware failures
- Measure and troubleshoot Ethernet and RF signals with industry standard test equipment and processes
SKILLS:
Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering, 5+ years of experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Ethernet technologies (TCP, UDP, DHCP, SSL, Routers, Firewalls)
- Experience with one or more of the following test tools: Wireshark, MPEG Analyzer, RF Spectrum Analyzer
- Experience in test Scripting and integrating software and hardware is preferred.
- Networking protocol experience [IP routing, IP Multicasting, IPTV, HLS, RTSP, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with MPEG video encryption, DOCSIS and TR0-69 is a plus.
- Experience with headend equipment is a plus.
- Must work well within a team environment.
- MS Office skills
- Must be flexible to work 2nd shift if or when needed
- Ability to travel inside and outside USA and fluency in Spanish is a plus
