Our client, a leading telecom company, is looking for a Network Security, Checkpoint Firewall Systems Engineer to join their expanding team, at their HQ based in Amsterdam. This is the perfect role for a candidate with a good Network Security background, strong interpersonal skills and experience in multinational and multicultural environments.
Responsibilities of the Checkpoint Engineer include
- Responsible for management and installation of network devices such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, application Switches
- Support of the Europe-wide network infrastructure
- Involved in selection process and testing of new infrastructure products
- Managing changes via change management system
The ideal candidate must have:
- Good knowledge of security infrastructure like VPN, IPS, application control, DLP
- Good knowledge of VPN based on Cisco and Checkpoint
- Good knowledge of F5 load balancers, especially ' Router on the stick" concept and SSL offloading
- Good knowledge of Checkpoint Firewalls: UTM appliance, Nokia based, Crossbeam
- MySQL, Perl, PHP, Unix Scripting knowledge
