DescriptionThe Mechanical Engineer will provide technical engineering leadership in the support of centrifuge and medical device instruments during the investigation, definition, design, development, and qualification phases
Skill Requirements:
- Detailed knowledge of FDA/ISO quality systems (specifically Design Controls/Product Realization) and related requirements
- Detailed understanding of product development and manufacturing methodologies to achieve high quality design (design for reliability)
- Strong background in medical device and/or centrifuge design
- Demonstrated skill in the areas required to perform this job:
- Mechanical design and analysis using CAD (Solidworks strongly preferred)
- Design for reliability/manufacturability
- Materials and component selection
- Test Fixture design
- Hydro pneumatic and Fluidic subsystem design
- Characterization, Verification and Validation Activities
- Excellent Communication, Writing and Presentation Skills
- Technical Leadership for Projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in field with 10+ years exp. ORMaster's degree in field with 8+ years exp. ORDoctoral degree in field with 2+ years exp.
