for a Solution Architect (f/m) Regulatory Reporting

Project environment

A Swiss Private Bank is working on the replacement of the current regulatory reporting solution towards the Swiss Authorities (SNB) with a new one. To support this project the Bank is looking for a Solution Architect.

Tasks

• Analyze the Business Requirements.
• Compile the Nonfunctional Requirements for the new Solution with the Support of the Business and IT Project Lead.
• Review the current Regulatory Reporting Solution Landscape with input of the Banks’ Subject Matter Experts (SME).
• Work with the Business and IT Project Lead and also with the 3rd Party Vendor to define the Target Solution.
• Write a Solution Blueprint Document defining the Target Regulatory Reporting Landscape and the Integration with the surrounding Systems.

Requirements

• Extensive practical experience as Solution Architect with Regulatory Reporting Solutions in Switzerland.
• Experience in the area of Data Integration for Regulatory Reporting.
• Work Experience in the Banking Area.
• Degree in Computer Science.
• Min. 3 years of practical Experience in the Area of Regulatory Reporting.
• Experience with 3rd Party Regulatory Reporting Solutions e.g. FIRE, AxiomSL is an advantage.
• Experience with Data Architectures in Private Banking is a plus
• Understanding of IT and Information Security Aspects in the Private Banking Area is an advantage.

Soft skills

• Strong analytical Skills.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Capability to communicate efficiently with both Business and IT Subject Matter Experts.
• Capability to analyze Operating Model and financial Impacts on the proposed Architecture Solutions.
