A large investment bank in Dallas, TX area is seeking a Java UI developer to work on their Retail and Business Banking application.This is an incredible opportunity for you to join a team that is aggressively growing their teams due to the amount of upcoming projects that are foreseen. There is currently three roles available with this team.
DURATION: 6+ Months Contract (contracts that will have the opportunity to constantly extend or turn full time)
RATE: Very Flexible with Competitive Rates (W2 or C2C accepted)
Location: Plano, TX

Technical Experience and Capabilities
5+ years' experience in a variety of web development technologies with proven experience of the following:
· Successfully operating in the development of large scale web applications, services and portals in ecommerce environment, bank applications or other high security client facing web/internet services.
· Demonstrated experience with core frameworks such as authentication mechanisms (single sign-on, OAuth, etc.), logging, metrics, watchdog, etc.
· Thorough knowledge of technologies such as web services, web and application servers (e.g. Tomcat, WebSphere), Oracle databases, SSL, TCP/IP stacks, MVC (Spring), Hibernate, Ajax, XML, jQuery, HTML5, etc.
· Excellent experience in developing large-scale applications and web portals using J2EE technologies and frameworks in Java 5.
· Very comfortable with application development and deployment on a variety of platforms such as Windows, Unix, Linux, etc.
· Familiarity with cryptography libraries such as OpenSSL.
· Experience working with 3rd party (including open source) software and libraries.
· Excellent understanding of and demonstrated use of design patterns and multi-threading.
· Thorough working knowledge of software development tools, including IDEs (e.g. Eclipse, RAD ), source control (e.g. Subversion, Perforce), etc.
· Experience working with infrastructure, deployment, change/release management teams.
· Experience working efficiently with UX/UI design teams.
· Experience working in agile development environment.
· Delivering against agreed metrics including product quality, performance and service.
· Prior experience working independently with other teams, both internal and external, on technical assignments.
