CLAS Consultant sought for a large project in Edinburgh.

Description:

As part of a new contract with an agency of the Devolved Government in Scotland, AFRC, our client has been contracted to deliver a new suite of IT applications to support EU Common Agricultural Policy reform in 2015 to distribute some £650m in grants to the farming community in Scotland. We are therefore looking to assemble a large development team, based on site in Edinburgh, working with the clients IT staff, in blended teams. RPID are the business area responsible for rural payments within AFRC.

The candidate must be skilled in the following to assume the responsibilities and hit the ground running from day one:

*Production of IS1 calculations, Residual Risk, Baseline Control Set and Risk Treatment Plan
*Production of RMAD or similar documentations for submission to the Security Authority and Accreditation body
*Production and presentation of Security Analysis and Impact Submissions including Risk Balance Case to the Business and Accreditation body.
*Scoping and managing IT Health Checks
*Managing and evaluation of secure networks including Internet facing web services. This will include Screening Routers, Load Balancers, Switches, Firewalls, Content Checkers, Host Intrusion Detection, Reverse Proxies. Bastian Servers, Staging Servers and other security technologies in virtualised environments
*Implementation and roll out for patching and antivirus
*Protective Monitoring to GPG 13 compliance
*Security code review and evaluation to provide high level of assurance on bespoke code developed in-house
*Hardening of operating systems, its components and applications
*Web services, portal and customer registration
*Services and data sharing with partners and third parties
*Anonymisation of live data for test and integration
*Oracle 11g R2 products and technologies
*Disaster recovery
*Excellent client facing, people and communication skills to work in highly demanding agile environment
