A global Pharmaceutical company are looking for a Customer Development Manager on a 12 month contract to join their consumer UK division. They are based in Maidenhead.At this level an individual should have responsibility for operating and managing a key category, (Baby, Beauty, Consumer Healthcare (CHC) or Over-the-counter Medicines (OTC) within a large grocery/high street account or alternatively total responsibility for a smaller grocery account.
Key skills and experiences:
* FMCG experience and the ability to demonstrate good levels of commerciality and negotiations is essential.
* Experience working with Superdrug would be beneficial.
* Previous experience of managing their own category/account and joint business planning process
* At least 4 years experience of seeing through the business planning process with a customer from creation to completion.
* Demonstrable examples of their ability to influence their own businesses to achieve a joint business plan with a customer
* Experience of working within big accounts with a track record of consistent career progression. Looking for ownership of spend and accountability for promotional activity together with creativity in their NDP activity, not just executing to the standard company plan.
* For an OTC account management roles, OTC experience is preferable.
* Evidence of a strong and rigorous training structure within previous roles is important.
o Must have good financial awareness and fully understand the P&L and the implications of this.
