Next Ventures is urgently looking for a SAP BI/BW specialist for an exciting client in Belgium.
Role:
- responsible for SAP BI solution design and development, translating business requirements into solid solutions, understanding and documenting the functional and technical requirements
- activities range from business requirements analysis to architecture design, BI development, testing and coaching of more junior consultants in the team.
- participate in assessments of existing SAP BI implementations and give advice on structural improvements in the areas of performance, usability, architecture, processes and organization.
- as a senior consultant, involved in other tasks: Define guidelines and best practices; Lead teams; Project Management; Planning and estimation; Architecture studies
Profile
- extensive experience in implementing SAP BW, BO solutions;
- understand Business Intelligence concepts and want to develop functional and technical SAP BI competencies(Data warehousing, Dash boarding, Analytics) in a challenging project,
- relevant experience using SAP BI tools (SAP BW, BO);
- team player with strong communication skills;
- eager to implement the newest SAP technology
- On the technical side, skills in the following tools/domains:
o ETL, data interface implementation: SAP BW, Business Objects tools
o OLAP and Reporting: Business Objects, SAP
o Data Warehouse and Metadata Management: Objects, SAP - experience in SAP ERP, Functional knowledge of business processes and management reporting, familiar with full-life cycle implementations or roll-out projects.
- Experience as a consultant in chemical companies is desirable
- open to work in an international environment and must be willing to work abroad if needed;
- fluent in English.
