Role: Commercial Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Duration: 4+ Months Initially with possible extension
Note: Security Clearance is required for this role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Essential
- ITIL trained and accredited or at a minimum, a strong understanding of ITIL
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Excellent IT skills with extensive practical experience of the Microsoft Office Suite (inc Outlook, Word, Excel and Publisher)
- Good understanding of HR and Procurement processes for make/buy decisions
- Pro-active and flexible attitude and be able to priorities work to meet deadlines
- Able to work well in a team and as an individual - able to work without close supervision
- Excellent specialist IT commercial procurement knowledge
- Experience of working within government
- Experience of work package and tender processes
- Being able to work in a fast and high pressured working environment
- Experience of creating and implementing Make/Buy strategies
