Background: Working with purchased theme “Flare v2.0” (Themeforest/by the Pixel). Website is a small startup non-profit. I am senior graphic designer on this project, and responsible for getting this site to function flawlessly and load quickly. My familiarity is with Dreamweaver CS5 and hand coding in the past. I am new to WordPress, and code is not one of my stronger skills.Immediate work needed:
1. Resolve issues with certain plugins: NextGen Basic Gallery (latest free vers) – No ‘Other Options’ showing in admin panel. (I need to create multiple galleries within albums.)
2. Woo-commerce plugin: I must setup a small store. I’ve read on the Flare support forum that there are some conflicts with this plugin and some workaround is necessary for proper display. The plugin is activated only, nothing at all is set up .
3. Configure W3TotalCache better to minimize load times – also suggest to me how I can speed up the site in general.
Will pay going rate/per hour to get this site on track.
This job is not necessarily temporary. If the non-profit continues to grow and expand, I will need to spend more time in design and illustration (PS, AI and ID) and less time trying to make WordPress play nice. This website/theme will need to expand to serve future needs of the non-profit.
