OPERATIONS/LOANS ADMINISTRATOR - INVESTMENT BANKING - LONDON
Job Purpose
An opportunity has arisen to join a team of 6 associates whose key role and function is to service and maintain the more complex loans held in position for the various trading businesses.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the running and reconciliation of reports to support the team in London and our offshore function.
* Responsible for reporting of breaks to management on a weekly and ad hoc basis.
* Running with projects to enhance control reporting via the generation of reports via excel or recommendations to submit to technology partners.
* Potential for involvement in completing similar functions within the loans documentation team or supporting requests from management for reviews of control data.
* Potential for involvement in servicing the loans on our books if time allows.
* Handling daily queries and investigations from various sources:
- Agent banks, traders, counterparties and internal departments.
Core skills and requirements
Essential:
* A detailed understanding of Microsoft Excel.
* Show a high level of commitment and professional work ethic
* Ability to work under pressure and multi-task without sacrificing quality.
* Excellent time and priority management skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
Preferred:
* Loans Agency/Admin experience an advantage but not essential.
