Wireless Support Engineer - Belgium

Wireless Support Engineer- A Wireless Support Engineer is needed for our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, on contract basis in Belgium. Work eligibility is required for the application. Based in Belgium but will need to support other projects in Benelux (Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands depending on project requirements)


Responsibilities:

? Plan, prepare and perform system tests
? Support on testing environment creation and operations
? Execute tests and report results
? Support customer during user acceptance test
? Track defects and resolutions
? Provide test support when system upgrades are being applied or new services are being launched

Skills and Specifications

? Experience on BSS software testing in telecom industry,
? Knowledge of Oracle, SQL and Unix (to support BSS management system platform)
? Usage of best practices on testing process and tools
? Good knowledge of 3Gpp protocols, GBSS & LTE including trace analysis.
? At least one to two years of experience in a system testing role
? Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle
? Working on multi-cultural team and be able to self organize own work
? Clear communication with peers and direct managers
? Full domain of Microsoft Office
? Excellent organizational skills
? Excellent communication and people skills
? GBSS 2G GSM, 3G WCDMA Radio Knowledge & LTE
? OSS experience with Solaris/ Sybase /Northbound interface / SAN
? Fluent in English and French (Dutch will be an advantage)
? Good use of Microsoft office tools
? Able to work independently and to support other people in the team
? Good communication skills, able to share and discuss other people ideas
? Consultative skills. Attitude to solve problems
? Able to work with people of different cultures as a team
? Min Bachelor's Degree in Electronics / Communications Engineering. Or compensatory work experience.
