General information for the business: We are developing a business intelligence softwareDescription of requirements/functionality: Core of this project is to evaluate the feasibility of connecting to a SAP BW system from Java domain.
We will provide you all the software and access to tools that are required. We have already set up an AWS instance. As part of a major project, we need to develop a rapid prototype. This prototype should be a Java-based application connecting to an Infocube within an SAP BW environment. The objective of the project is that we send a MDX query (or sth. comparable) via an connector to an infocube and receive the query result .
We would like approach this project as follows:
1. Configure an already setup (new) SAP BW test environment on AWS for connecting via SAP Jco (if required)
2. Programmatically make a connection to an infocube using OLE DB or XMLA
3. Mutually review the written code and detailed explanation where necessary
Deliverable: Working system / Java code incl. explanation

Please consider the stated project price as a rough number. Based on the proven experience of our freelancer and the expected code quality, we'd like to leave room for price negotiation on both sides.
