We are currently on the lookout for a talented freelance packaging designer with at least 3+ years industry experience for ongoing bookings with an established Liverpool based client. Successful candidates will be happy to work in house and will also have their own MAC/Laptop ideally.Desired Skills:
- Strong Packaging background.
- The ability to design and come up with new concepts for packaging.
- The ability to produce print ready artwork.
- Awareness of repro requirements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- A strong portfolio of packaging Design and Artwork.
Rate banding
If you are set up as a limited company or if you are a sole trader who would be paid through our PAYE payment structure.
Freelancers set up as a limited company would be looking at 18 - 20 per hour.
Freelancers being paid through our PAYE payment structure would be looking at 14 - 15 per hour plus statutory holiday pay.
For those of you thinking of applying who don't really know the advantages of working as a freelancer through an agency like Orchard I would like to mention a couple of key points.
