Interim Medical Staffing Manager - SurreyA post has arisen for a Medical Staffing Manager to join an Acute Trust in a desirable location in Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to progress their career within Human Resources for the NHS.
You will report to the HR Director and be required to take a lead role in the operation of the systems, recruitment process and work force planning.
Key Skills:
- Experience of providing a comprehensive medical staffing service within an Acute Trust
- Strong knowledge of relevant staff terms and conditions, employment law, legislation/directives and working time regulations
- Experience of Medical Rotas - including ensuring that medical rotas are fully staffed 24/7
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day operation of medical staffing - ensuring team meets recruitment standards and adhere to NHS codes of Recruitment
- Provide support in relation to rota/staffing patterns to ensure effective staffing levels and ensure staff have knowledge of EWTD
- Co-ordination of surgical rosters
- Liaising with all senior levels on a regular basis to ensure all relevant strategic direction is in place
The role is initially a 3 month contract with huge potential of extension and is paying a competitive rate.
