Role: CCM- Manager - Commercial Channel Management - Market, Strategy and Planning. (MSP)
Location: Uxbridge
Rate: Negotiable
Length: 6 month Contract

My client is looking for someone who has the following:
- Market, Strategy and Planning. (MSP)
- Imbedded in the Marketing team
- Commercial Marketing
- Create go to market strategy - Longer term revenue strategy, price, promo, pack.
- Promotional understanding
- Understanding of a 1 commercial plan
- Evaluating promotions
- What are the best promotions pending different channels.
- What are the right packs, what is the best price and what is the best promotion
1: Commercial understanding/Experience - understanding P&L, National Account Manager Experience, understand promotions.
2: Analytical skills and able to problem solve, taking data both internal and external, understand the problems and sort plans out how to solve them.
3: Really looking for someone from Category management, or sales experience.
4: Looking for someone from the drinks or FMCG Background.
The core role of the CCM function is to;
- Generate the 1-3 Year Business Revenue Plans. Generation of longer term revenue initiatives across the key levers of Price, Promotion, Pack, Mix & Customer Investment.
- Generate the 1 Year Channel Plan. Translating Brand, Revenue & Category Strategies into bespoke Channel Plans that deliver on LRS targets, optimising the way in which we bring our brands to market.
- In Year Course Correction. Lead the in year course correction & gap filling process of the business plan. Tracking key performance metrics, identifying key issues and facilitating the solutions.
- Working for the Impulse Controller within the CCM team to help create and deliver , (through wider teams), the long term revenue plans, in year commercial channel plans for the business, optimising the way in which we bring our brands to market.
Basic Education:
Degree educated or similar
Basic Experience:
Experience within commercial function:
CCM, sales, marketing, category or similar within FMCG business.
Basic appreciation of wider functions' ways of working, including supply chain, manufacturing, marketing and finance.
Commercial Planning experience, with regard to developing customer/channel focused plans.
P&L management experience or understanding
Experience of delivering actionable recommendations from insight.
Preferred experience:
Working within the FMCG or Soft Drinks category.
Experience of Impulse channel, and broad base of customers
Skills:
Trade and consumer knowledge:
Understanding of UK trade within own channel, and a basic understanding of other channels.
Promotional optimisation:
Understanding of different promotional mechanics and impact within channel and post evaluation and insight to drive ROI improvement
Data:
Ability to use internal and external data to highlight insights.
Experience with industry data sources and provides (ACN, Litmus).
Commercial management:
Good understanding of P&L and experience of commercial decision making
Strategy & Planning:
Detailed understanding of core elements of a commercial plan
