Finance Business Partner - Northampton - 6 MONTH Temp assignment
Barclaycard is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their Northampton site.
The Finance Business Partner role is responsible for supporting Financial integrity of the Advocacy Team. The Finance Business Partner role is responsible for supporting and engaging with each of the business area stakeholders within PPI Customer Transformation.
* Working with the business to support month end and Forecast process.
* Provide analysis and insight to the business for monthly performance versus forecast.
* Manage month end and forecast sign off meetings with the business ensuring all actions are documented and followed up in a timely manner.
* Process journals at month end.
* Review ledgers at month end to ensure financial control and integrity of postings to ensure only PPI costs are posted to the Provision.
* Ensure appropriate back up maintained for accruals and prepayment.
* Produce cluster pack reporting and cost centre reporting at month end.
* Ensure risks and opportunities are identified and communicated on a timely basis.
* Point of contact for business for all SAP queries.
* Ensure financial control and reconciliation process is adhered to at month end and appropriate monthly files are produced in a timely fashion.
* Support decision making process and cost effective running of operations.
* Provide ad hoc financial support to the business when required.
* Ensure compliance to Group guidelines for cost sign off from the business and support as required.
Technical knowledge to include (SAP or Essbase) and Excel
Strong operational processes, identify and manage misposting to systems
