Description
My client, a Government Department based in North Ryde has a need for a Graphic Designer to join the organisation.
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Work within a team of business analysts, developers and testers and will be responsible for delivering on all aspects of graphic design for web and mobile applications
- Possess an eye for detail and passion for innovative and creative design
- Be a visual problem solver with the ability to be flexible and deliver on deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Need to engage with both internal and external stakeholders and have the ability to work collaboratively within a team and also autonomously.
- Need to have a good understanding of HTML and CSS as well as design standards for responsive websites and mobile applications.
- Methodically investigate, analyse, review and document business processes and specifications.
To be considered for this role you will possess:
- At least 3 years industry experience as a Graphic Designer for mobile and web applications using industry leading graphic designing tools.
- Demonstrated ability in producing graphic designs for emerging Smartphone's and tablet applications and ensuring the consistent look and feel across products and sites.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment with an evolving business requirement.
- Demonstrated experience with UX/UI design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including:
- Ability to extract requirements, discuss changes and options and articulate clearly on what solution would best work and why.
- Well-developed documentation skills for writing clear concise business requirements
- Sound and effective organisational skills, including the ability to manage changes to business requirements and priorities and work within tight timeframes
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines.
