Reporting to Project CTO, you will be responsible for :
• Design and implementation of web-based back-end components that are high-performing and scalable
• Participate and improve development processes such as Agile, Scrum, XP, Kanban along with strong robust coordination processes related to software deployments and testing
• Mentor younger software engineers into rock star software development experts
• Maintain high code quality and component architecture
• You will manage against timelines and releases and push the envelop in talent productivity and software effectiveness
• You will be expected to become a significant team leader as the team grows
In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:
• You know PHP very well, minimum 5+ years of experience doing solid PHP code
• You love good software development – simplicity, common sense, elegant code
• You have architected large software components – you have worked on two or more areas around scalability, security, data access, parallel processing, performance profiling, and multiple system communications
• You have used modern web frameworks
• You speak English fluently
