Description
My client, a World leading Medical Technology company based in the Twin Cities is looking for a Director of Engineering to innovate and manage the Mechanical development of new Medical Devices.You will be responsible for the development of new products from initial concepts to product delivery. The primary focus of this role is to define, develop and prove out product concepts and new designs. You will be managing a group of around 40 people, with 5 direct reports
Based on your experience the salary range is between 160,000K to 220,000K + bonus and benefits.
You must have:
- BS Engineering in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- A proven business leader
- 10+ years successful development experience in regulated industry
- Ability to communicate ideas quickly and effectively using a combination of sketching, CAD layouts, 3D models and working prototypes to evaluate potential solutions.
- Experience managing external contractors and stakeholders
