The Reward Manager will be required to support the Head of Reward in the formulation of reward and benefits strategies aligned to our client's needs along with the development and management of related policies, procedures and systems whilst ensuring these are delivered on time and within budget. Our client is one of Europe's leading airlines. The position is based at the Head Office of this FTSE 100 trading company based in Luton who foster an open and collaborative working environment.

In this role, you will be required to take on responsibility for three key areas of compensation.

These are designed to:

  • Introduce a light approach to job evaluation to support job families
  • Manage the pay review process for management and admin staff
  • Ensure that pay benchmarking approaches are fit for purpose

You will also need to develop and maintain ways to monitor and keep informed of rewards and best practise trends, communicating these effectively and implementing new end to end reward initiatives when needed. HR Business Partners and Line Managers will need to be provided with professional advice, expertise, guidance and support on all aspects of reward so that they are aware of current legislation, best practise and company policy/procedures. Furthermore, you will aid in the operation and communication of international flexible benefits, share plans, salary planning plus the annual performance review and bonus allocation processes.

Suitable candidates will need to have the following skills and/or experience;

  • You must be an experienced Reward Manager with in house/consultancy experience, ideally within large Pan-European or International companies. You will also have a comprehensive knowledge of best practise approaches for pay, benchmarking and job evaluation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to research and present findings to key stakeholders (both inside and outside the department) together with liaising with them to form cohesive strategies and ensuring reward processes are implemented, communicated and managed effectively.
  • Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and appropriate HR Systems to a high level.
  • Being able to ensure high levels of engagement in the team.
  • Being able to manage third party relationships to improve delivery and customer service capabilities with a focus on quality.
  • Educated to degree level with CIPD qualification being desirable but not essential.
