Description
Minimum 4 years of experience in design and development of software for embedded Linux platforms.Hands on experience with embedded software development for networking products.
Experienced on Linux debugging and development.
Knowledge about various carrier network architectures ATM, IP, broadband networks including IPV4 & IPV6 networks implementation.
In-depth knowledge of all routing technologies, i.e., layer 2 to 7 TCP/IP, HTTP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, IGMP, QoS, VLAN, VPN, etc. As it relates to broadband gateway products in the home.
Experience with public carrier network implementations for broadband transport & services.
Knowledge design and experience with transport based technologies WiFi, MoCA, Ethernet, HPNA, Power line.
Team player with good communication skills.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, M.S. degree is a plus
The candidate will design, implement and maintain platform software.
