Description
My client has a multinational presence and is one of the most well known in the medical devices industry. Due to continued expansion, a role has been signed off for an electronics engineer to assist in the development of their hi-tech products in their Livingston site.The appointed candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience developing electronics across a broad range of sectors. You will be well-versed in hardware design and will have used a range of microcontrollers. You will also be comfortable with embedded software development and C coding. It will also be beneficial if you've had exposure to wireless comms and brushless motors, but these are not essential. No medical devices experience is required, but exposure to multiple full product life-cycles and a range of sectors is highly beneficial.
Some of the following skills would be beneficial:
- Signal acquisition and processing
- Low power design techniques
- Embedded development experience in TI C2000 series DSP, Freescale HS08 series MCU, Atmel Tiny MCU
