Qualified Accountant - London - Top Tier Investment Bank
My client, a Top Tier Investment bank, are in need of a qualified accountant to join their team, initially on a 6 month contract, to be responsible of the daily PnL for all EMEA Treasury relationships and asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting of the daily P&L for all EMEA Treasury relationships and asset classes across the entities supported by the Group. Providing coverage for other team members' processes where necessary.
Opportunity to understand Treasury business funding relationships, to input into continual effort to enhance the control environment and to be involved in ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
To manage inter-company and intra company relationships it will be necessary to deal with multiple stakeholders across different lines of business.
Expectation to complete and assist in analysis of the business and downstream reporting of any significant new business transactions, projects or enhancements that are implemented.
Participate in enhancing infrastructure and efficiency exercises around daily and monthly P&L processes.
Pro-actively manage their responsibilities with the support of the wider team and business.
Essential Skills:
Qualified Accountant, client relationships, stakeholder management, strong PnL experience and the ability to display good judgement and involvement in a change effort.
Advantageous:
Prior Middle Office experience and Treasury experience.
