The contract is with a consultancy in Brussels to be on assignment at a large European site as follows:
The client is currently seeking an Analyst with PowerBuilder expertise for the development and maintenance of information systems.
Tasks:
. analysis of user requirements;
. writing and maintaining applications;
. assistance in the testing, technical documentation (in English), technical training, deployment, evaluation and reporting;
. participation in technical meetings with users;
. maintaining the link of the existing local framework applications
Development tools:
. PowerBuilder v11;
. Oracle 11g (incl PL/SQL);
. MSOffice 2010 (incl VisualBasic and MS Access)
Knowledge and experience:
. good knowledge of French and English
. exp of development tools itemised above
. knowledge of Appeon an advantage;
. knowledge of Java and Web Services an advantage;
. proven XML exp.
