Operational Risk Officer - Swindon - 6 Month Contract - up to £450 a day
This large financial organisation is actively seeking an Operational Risk Officer for a 6 month contract. With multiple branches all over the UK they are the market leaders within their sector; however this role is based at their head quarters in Swindon.
You will be required to support the Divisional Director in discharging operational risk management accountabilities through coordinating the design, implementation and operation of appropriate risk oversight, management and controls assurance mechanisms within the business area.
Essential skills for the Operational Risk Officer role are:-
- Good appreciation of governance issues, operational risk management concepts and methodologies, coupled with practical experience of implementing operational risk and control management processes.
- The ability to spot problems and provide insight.
- Good knowledge of the Financial Services sector.
