An financial services firm in Glenview, IL is seeking a full-time Senior IT Project Manager to join their newly formed PMO. The Project Manager will work on a multitude of both IT and Business projects over multiple lines of business. This is a full time role located in the North Suburbs of Chicago.This is a high visibility position and strong communication skills are required. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years of project management experience and a financial background, specifically within investment banking and wealth management space.
Responsibilities will include:
-Working with various teams and groups across several departments
-Overseeing the enhancement and new development of multiple financial applications
-Budgeting and forecasting multiple development projects
-Road mapping of time management of all development projects
-Demonstrating the value of a PMO to Senior Management
-Working alongside multiple business teams and IT teams
Qualifications for the role include:
-3+ years of financial experience
-5+ years of project management experience
-Proven experience leading PMO efforts
-Previous software development experience and knowledge of the SDLC
-PMP Certification is encouraged, but not required
