OVERVIEW
Real Staffing are representing a leading NHS Trust in London which requires an interim IT Security Technician to support their team on a specific project assignment.
The successful candidate will work with the IT department to ensure that the Trust's IT security policies are up-to-date and provide documentation for use by external auditors.
Due to the nature of the assignment, candidates will have the option to work remotely where suitable.
KEY DUTIES
- Reviewing current security policies (passwords/firewalls) for each of the Trust's IT systems
- Gathering information and completing Excel templates
- Writing technical documentation
- Ensuring all security documentation and policies meet auditor requirements
- Meeting with the Head of IT and system leads
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Strong understanding of IT security policies
- Setup system passwords and firewalls
- Written technical IT documentation
- Previous NHS IT experience (preferable)
