Description
Our client, a telecom company, is looking for a Scrum Master to join their growing team. This role is based in their office in Schiphol. This is the perfect role for a candidate with leadership mentality, good managing skills and experience within the telecommunications industry.
The Scrum Master responsibilities will be:
- Organize and conduct sprint planning meetings, sprint retrospectives, product demos and daily scrums.
- Partner with Product Owners to achieve high-quality and timely deliverables based on highest business value.
- Manage sprint planning and execution, including providing clear visibility into sprint status.
- Work with project stakeholders ensure product backlog is prioritized, groomed, and detailed to avoid any downtime, ambiguity or rework.
- Occasional travel within Europe may be required.
The Scrum Master we are looking for must have:
- At least 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry; thorough understanding of mobile Internet ecosystem, wireless telecommunications networks, services and markets
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Certified Product Owner (CPO) accreditation; or equivalent experience as a Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding and experience in the telecoms/mobile sector (eg, structure, technologies, key players, etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of agile principles and value-based deployment; minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with agile, scrum or lean methodologies.
- Extensive experience with SDLC.
