My client, a blue chip semiconductor manufacturer, is urgently looking for a specialist to take on a one year contract until the end of August 2015 in their German office.Scope of Work:
As a Customer Application Engineer, you will be responsible for technical support, including remote and on customer site support. Your main tasks will include:
- Providing technical consultancy and guidance to customers during the system definition phase.
- Supporting technical design-in and lead customer projects.
- Providing technical product trainings to customers.
- Preparing application notes and technical support materials.
- Contributing to next generation products through customer feedback.
- Developing close relationship with the worldwide technical support network.
Skills:
- Must have very good knowledge of C/C++
- Must have very good knowledge of JAVA
- Must have experience in programming for Mobile devices e.g. Android
- Must have experience in Global Platform, Java card, JCOP
- Must have worked in the Semiconductor industry previously
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Eclipse IDE for Java, Android studio
- Smart Card Know-how including MIFARE
- Knowledge in Smart Card related standard and specification e.g. ISO 14443, ISO15693, ISO18092, EMVCo, ETSI 102613
- Web services knowledge
