Description
A leading and highly respected semiconductor organisation requires a Senior Project Manager for a long term contract based in Germany. The Project Manager will work within the department Hardware IP leading. the Project Management for the development and industrialisation of leading secure IP for secure element application.Role and Responsibilities:
* Offers hands-on approach to drive execution with the teams,
* Manages time, money, information, quality and organisation of the IP project.
* Focuses on customer deliverables: knows at all-times what deliverables are planned for customers and their status. Constantly does progress sanity checks
* Project management best practice owner. Practical approach to Project * Management based more on experience than theory.
* Hands on to drive execution across all teams.
* Sees problems before even the project team sees them.
* Expert in risk management and contingency planning.
The successful Project Manager will have previous experience in the semiconductor industry and ideally PMP/PMI certification or other adequate project management qualification.
Alongside this experience you will need:
* Experience in driving IC design / IP projects
* Experience in driving ASIC design flow projects
* Experience with advanced verification methodologies such as UVM, OVM, eRM (nice to have - ideally knows the methodology)
* Deep knowledge in project management
* Fluency in English
* Very good presentation skills
* Very good communicator and leader.
* Must build trust and respect with the teams.
* Expert at leading by influence.
* Strong business mindset
This is an initial contract until the end of February 2015 with further extensions possible.
