Web Designer / Developer

Description

Beyond Indigo is looking for one or two web designers to join our team. We are a full-service digital marketing and website development agency working primarily in the veterinary space. We are a small company with staff located throughout the United States.

These are freelance positions. However, our company is growing and the right designers will find a regular source of work.

We’re looking for someone with:

Two years of responsive web design experience (combined graphic design for web and HTML5/CSS3/JS/jQuery)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and other team members.

A focus on submitting clean, error-free code

A passion for learning new skills and work outside of any framework you may currently be using

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The drive to find solutions to novel coding issues, and the resourcefulness to troubleshoot issues independently

Excellent knowledge of current trends in web design

Required Skills

Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, UI design, web-specific graphic design (typography, color theory, layout, photo modification, etc.)

Competent implementation of mobile-first responsive web design ,jQuery, JS

Competent use of and current licenses for: Adobe CC: PS, AI

Competent implementation cross browser support (down to IE 9 and including major current mobile devices)

Competent implementation Schema and microdata

Clean, well-commented stacks

Design in code

These are a plus: SASS, WP3, PHP, Logo design,Branding
