My major Investment Banking client based in London is currently seeking a Credit Desk Analyst to join their Global Credit Technology division.

Key Skills for Credit Desk Analyst:

*MUST have experience with Derivatives Trading Applications
*MUST have good understanding of Credit Derivatives and the Trade-life cycle
*Strong support and problem diagnosis skills
*Ability to handle a high pressure trading environment
*Business knowledge, preferably with Credit Derivatives
*Basic technology skills - MS Office, SQL, Quartz, VBA and Unix
*Preferably experience of working within an Investment Bank
*Personable and an excellent communicator.

The role (accountabilities):

*Provide first level support of users of Credit Derivatives applications
*Work closely with users, answering their queries and raising development requests.
*Escalation and timely resolution of production issues.
*Liaise between Credit application users and technology teams.
*Analysis around new requirements or improvements to the current system
*Develop and maintain documentation
*Ability to prioritise workload effectively
*Logical thinking - the ability to consolidate information from various teams, analyse the problem and provide a resolution.
