Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer to work with one of our prestigious clients in the Automative Systems sector.The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and co-ordination of all associated process works across multiple projects for all phases from concept through to commissioning while ensuring that the design meets applicable codes and standards and customer specifications and while achieving project deadlines.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Perform all phases of design of separation systems for processes from solvent recovery to product purifications using Aspen suite of Software, from concepts, through to start-up and commissioning of such systems, including sizing of columns and associated heat exchangers, plus specification of column internals
- Perform all process design calculations
- Develop and maintain all design documents
- Coordination with other design disciplines
- Ensuring compliance of design to current local, national and international standards
- Reviewing Client specifications and ensuring compliance of design to same
- Preparation of the process elements for project budgets/estimates and sales proposals
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar 3rd level qualification and must be competent in use of Aspen Suite of Software for separation system design. Experience in a similar role or 5-7 years of process engineering and experience in all elements of design for separation systems for product purifications, solvent recoveries, etc is desired.
