Front End Developer - OO JavaScript - JQuery - JavaScript frameworks - HTML5 - CSS3 - Ajax - JSON - London
Front End Developer with strong OO JavaScript, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Ajax and JSON experience is required for three month rolling contract beginning in October this year.
Experience Required
- Proven experience of commercial Front End development, with examples
- Excellent knowledge of OO Javascript and JQuery
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, ideally Knockout and Underscore
- HTML and CSS (including HTML5 and CSS3)
- Experience with Ajax and JSON
- Experience with version control
- Knowledge of Sass/LESS
- Experience with Eclipse and working on a Java web platform would be extremely advantageous
- Some knowledge of Grunt would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of existing and new sites and improve the web platform itself
- Take ownership of our JavaScript and perform code reviews
- Work with our Studio department on the development of new modules
- Develop web accessible and cross-browser compatibility code
