Presales Network Engineer / Pre-Sales Consultant / PresalesIndustry: Networks, Security, Data-Centre Location: BerkshireReports To: Pre-Sales Manager. Basic Salary: £ per annum. Other Benefits: Bonus, Pension, and Healthcare. My client are a leader in providing highly innovative and valued technology systems integration.
They are looking for a new Pre Sales Consultant in order to assist with the development and delivery of converged infrastructure solutions.
The role will involve providing technical advice, support and strategy to both customers and the Sales Team in order to grow new revenue from existing customers and would only require you in the office at least twice a week. The ideal candidate must possess a knowledge of sales processes, RFP production, data-centre design and implementation and workshop design.
Candidates must have experience in converged infrastructure implementation and working in virtual teams with Account Managers, Post-Sales Support and Post-Sales Consultants and have a knowledge of the industry of my client.
Openness, honesty, initiative and self-motivation are key qualities my client are looking for with excellent documentation and verbal communication and skills.
Excellent technical knowledge in the following is essential:
* Routing, Switching
* LAN, WAN, WIFI
* Cisco Call Manager, UCS
* Catalyst & Nexus Switching products
* Cisco Wireless Technologies
* Cisco Routing Products
* One other Manufacturer Wireless (eg Aruba, Meraki, Meru, Ruckus)
* Data Centre Networking: Experience in implementing Cisco Nexus 5K and/or other products in the Cisco Data portfolio.
* Knowledge of other data centre networking technologies. * Computer & Virtualisation: Experience in implementing Cisco UCS.
