Core Design Engineer
Our client is looking for experienced core design/capacity engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Dublin.
The successful candidate should have the below skills:
- Ability to produce HLSD, HLD, LLD and DB to a high quality and to strict timescales.
- Ability to produce/review data builds to agreed designs.
- Able to understand customer requirements regarding new services and responding back with a detailed TRS (Tech Req Spec) and IA (impact analysis) that details the areas of the business that are impacted as well as estimating resource time based issues.
- Excellent understanding of Nokia DX and ATCA products including MSS and MGW
- Excellent understanding of Nokia SDM, hiS700 and SRRi and ACME SBC
- Understanding of protocols ISUP, SIP-I, Megaco (H.248)
- Able to write and follow through detailed testing specifications and liaise with testing teams and operations teams to transfer service knowledge leading to test acceptance and TTO
- Good understanding of capacity and performance, ability to use tools such as NetAct and Traffica
