For a global bank based here in Zürich we are looking for a
Senior Business Analyst within the stream “Securities” (8886-1)

You are taking over an important business analyst role within the stream "Securities" as part of the overall Operations Program implementation. You will be working in a dedicated and flexible team. The project is key in regard to enable successful implementation of the securities related processes for the new legal entity structure. It includes core processes on the securities side such as settlement and reconciliation, instructions and lifecycle events as well as interfaces to other core businesses.
A key element, in addition to the client related flow, is the interaction with the Investment Bank and Group Treasury to ensure the F2B coverage of all processing aspects.
Power of comprehension as well as the ability to analyze and drive for solutions within complex environments is a prerequisite for this challenging and interesting job opportunity. The ability to deliver on time and in good quality is critical. Furthermore, it is key that you are able to act and manage in a global and demanding environment. The role demands skills and abilities to understand and strive business operating models, processes, technology infrastructure as well as regulatory frameworks. It covers the full project lifecycle from concept, business requirement phase to testing, migration and implementation.

Main Activities:
• Act as senior business analyst for the securities stream within Group Operations including taking over challenging construction sites which require deep-dive analysis and resolution finding within thightly integrated stakeholder environment on Investment Bank, Group Treasury, Credit Risk, Finance, Legal and other Group Operation streams as well as with central program bodies and IT delivery side
• Prepare meaningful presentations as basis for decision making for senior management and stakeholder as well as documentation of business requirements
• Managing migration and operational readiness related conceptual and preparation tasks as well as execution
• Plan, prepare and execute training and implementation activities
• Elaborate and ensure execution of proper business readiness activities including (but not limited to) implementation of service level agreements, standard operating procedures and end-user training.
• Project management related tasks (planning, coordination, prioritization, stakeholder management and documentation) to facilitate delivery in time
• Support the sub-stream lead in any activity within his/her task portfolio
Requirements:
• University degree or equivalent certificate
• Several years of business analysis and project management experience in large-scale and multi-location projects, preferably in banking/IT environment (especially Securities processing, Operations experiences a plus)
• Delivery focused, high-energy, hands-on and independent teamplayer with pro-active leadership personality
• Strong conceptual and analytical capabilities as well as highly developed skills to structure / organize complex topics and tasks
• Well developed communication skills including oral and written English language with talent to structuring and generating meaningful business requirements
• Ability to lead, mobilize and guide multiple stakeholders through all aspects of project life cycle
• Willing to perform to a high standard and demonstrate resilience to stress
• Strong interpersonal skills including confident manner to work in a globel organization
