Supports Corporate and SBU applications mainly in EMEA, if required worldwide.

The System Software Analyst I functional context is defined as below:
The technical scope entails the operation and maintenance as well as design of,File services (excl. file security), Lync, Active Directory, Management of all Servers with standard configurations, Management of all Citrix Servers, Server installation and monitoring, Server virtualization, Server Printing, Server backup solutions, Radia server management, Altiris, Datacenter Storage and backup, Infrastructure services. Typically member of the Solution and Deployment team where this type of expertise is required. Acts as SME in EMEA and is member of Global Team(s).

Functional Requirements:

Skills - must haves:

    • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the related field
    • Strong analytical problem solving abilities to quickly resolve technical problems, evaluate alternative approaches and to recommend the most feasible and economical solutions
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work without close supervision while ensuring that tasks are done effectively and consistently
    • Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to document
    • Installing, operating Servers, storage and other server related solutions.
    • Performing hardware construction tasks when installing new equipment
    • Installation and configuration of standard Windows operating systems

Skills - nice to haves:

    • Work daily on Infra tickets including problem management, escalation handling and reporting.
    • Communicate to to other teams in English in case of major incidents.(other EMEA teams, helpdesk, GO teams, vendors) handling of Service impact notifications with team leader approval
    • Communicate corporate standards and solutions to business stakeholders and other teams
    • Ensure that overall compliance goals are on track
    • Evaluate best ways to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity
    • Participate in meetings with stakeholders to determine IT Infrastructure requirements
    • Deploy upgrades with high impact for customers
    • Main point of project contact for suppliers like Dell, HP, Systemat,EMC,
    • Active participation in weekly staff and other meetings
    • SME for various technologies including Global team membership
    • Lead small to medium projects
    • Participate in large scale projects
    • Work independently and without much guidance
    • Responsible for planning and monitoring the fulfillment of own and team PLP goals
    • Works on new designs while liaising with GO to safeguard standards and design principles
    • Leads and implements small to medium projects which type were not done before and require medium changes or medium technology introduction while using strong change management, documentation
    • Participates in large scale projects which type were not done before and require major changes or major technology introduction (POC)
    • Participate in the execution of operational rollouts, site implementations as and when required
    • Works independently and with minimal guidance and direction from project managers and other project leaders and leads small to medium consequence projects.
    • Uses various system support tools and performance and monitoring tools, including monitoring software, native to the operating system.
    • Assists in testing and implementing operating system software, prepares documentation,
