Network Engineer - 6 Months - WarwickshireYou will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd level support design, implementation of large corporate network infrastructures covering both LANs and WANs, working at a detailed level on all major network device types (firewall, router, switch, load balancer) with a focus on Data Centre network infrastructure.
Apply and build upon your general network skills within a multi-client, multi-data centre environment on any aspect of network support.
We are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience in designing, implementing and/or supporting large corporate or data centre networks.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Cisco accreditations are essential - at least one of CCNP, CCDP, or equivalent.
- We are seeking individuals who have proven hands on experience in designing, implementing and supporting large corporate or data centre networks preferably in a multi-client, service provider environment, and have skills in at least four or more of the following:
- LAN/WAN network equipment , protocols and communication standards : (Cisco, Juniper and Nokia),
- Firewall systems (Juniper, Checkpoint and Cisco PIX/ASA)
- Load balancer solutions (Cisco CSS and ACE, and F5)
- VPN and Remote Access solutions
- Nexus
- Design, plan and implementation of enterprise wide network solutions
- Ability to own and lead a client's network infrastructure service
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
