Our client, an IT consultancy, is looking to recruit the services of an experienced User Experience Manager to work on-site in a digital team at a large organisation based in central London.

The team manages the customer experience for our client's online presence and advises on digital best-practices and alignment of web activities across the group. The User Experience Manager is responsible for the successful management and development of key applications which are seen as core services on the group websites.

This role is required to:

  • Optimise the user journeys of websites through the ownership and development of core applications for commercial benefit
  • Apply user-centered design (UCD) methodologies to solve complex business requirements.
  • Produce wire frames and conduct multivariate & A/B testing
  • Agree the priorities for development across the sites and core applications,
  • Liaise with Business Units on use of and development of key aspects of the sites.
  • Drive up customer satisfaction

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Significant experience of E-commerce, and in particular of customer journey management and development, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Experience of Web Project Management
  • Excellent team working skills across cross functional teams
  • Good influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong experience of managing technical teams to tight deadlines and budgets
  • Experience of managing third party suppliers and design agencies.
  • Design skills including the use of Photoshop is preferred
