Senior Test Analyst (Contract)
My client is looking for Test Analyst - with a strong personalities to join their vibrant, highly motivated, test team.
My Client is a global company with over 40 offices worldwide and a leaders within their field. Their Technology Center is based in Dublin City Center and at the moment, they work on many projects with a focus on Innovation and development of new cutting edge technologies.
Currently there are more than 70 people in their offices here in Dublin which is their global R&D Center which is all Technical staff
This is a unique environment and although its a tech center they have a real focus on work/life balance, there offices are second to none and you will get the opportunity to work on really interesting projects with some of the best IT people within the industry in a collaborative easy going social environment.
They are looking for someone who can be responsible for the testing carried out on assigned projects. If you're creative and take innovative approaches to problem solving and you want to work in collaborative and fun working environment this may be the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Test Manager to plan all testing activities required for new functionality and regression tests and identify and facilitate the delivery of test environment requirements
- Work with the business and project team to identify appropriate test coverage and create test data as necessary
- Support the creation, implementation and ongoing improvement of the software delivery approach
- Provide mentoring and support to other team members, anticipate problems, actively promote testing activities and develop close relationships with key analysts
- Provide test results with supporting data to facilitate go live decision making
Skills & Experience
You need to
- Have at least 3+ years system/integration test experience
- Working knowledge of web based applications
- Value critical thinking, curiosity and willingness to learn and be strong willed
- Strong SQL database experience
It's a bonus if you have
- ISEB/ISTQB certification
- Working knowledge of Agile Test Techniques
- Coding or Scripting experience
