Description
Our client is looking for a Storage Consultant to join their team. This role is based in Helsinki, Finland. This role is perfect for a candidate with experience in Hitachi, SAN and NAS technologies.
The responsibilities of the Storage Consultant would include:
- Involvement in the designing process of the Storage, SAN, NAS solutions for small to enterprise customer environments including De-Duplication.
- Making Business case for solution provided
- Storage and archival assessment engagement involving detailed study to recommend the tactical and strategical solution to customer
- Solution presentation to the customer
- Implementation of solution
Skills required:
- Experienced with SAN and NAS technologies
- Experienced with backup and archival solution from Hitachi (HUS-VM, HUS-110, EMC etc.)
- Knowledge in troubleshooting storage issues.
- Storage migration/w heterogeneous boxes
- Storage migration experience
- Knowledge of BCV, Remote copy, Synchronous and asynchronous, data centre fibre cables and storage migration.
- Switch technologies
- Experience of handling the transformation project as project manager would be a plus.
Daily rate: €300 per day
Available: Immediately
Contract: 3 to 6 months
