Description
Management Accountant - Reading - IFRS & SAP - Oil and GasMy client, a British multinational oil and gas company, are recruiting for a Management Accountant, based in reading, initially on a 12 month contract.
Overview
The incumbent is expected to continually challenge the work of the MR team in a constructive way; to propose the discontinuation of activities that do not add value, to propose new reports and information that better assess performance, to improve the timeliness/quality/appearance of material produced, to look at ways of improving departmental efficiency and cost reductions, to investigate and advocate the use of better ways to deliver information.
Essential Requirements
- Production of detailed and accurate financial reporting under challenging time scales
- Experience of IFRS
- Knowledge of SAP (ERP,BCS and BI)
- Experience of working in the oil and gas industry preferred
- Part-qualified accountant, with relevant experience in a management reporting or similar role
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Excellent presentation, reporting and communication skills;
- High level of attention to detail;
- Self starter who challenges information provided for review and looks for opportunities to improve deliverables and processes;
