This position works as part of an engineering team that supports infrastructure and Middleware utilized in seismic processing.
This position is our specialist in tape storage and processing. We utilize common Legacy environment and a cutting edge HSM environment that utilizes IBM's HPSS technology. This role is to support this technology
Skill required:
- Has HSM experience
- Industry experience in High Performance Computing environment
- C/C++ (PROC)
- Oracle, MySQL
- Shell programming/Scripting (BASH, Perl, etc.)
- Linux OS Systems Mgmt
- Seismic processing workflows
- Tape Systems Mgmt (media, libraries, HSM, etc.)
- Work/Job scheduler knowledge and experience
