I am currently recruiting for a Leading Banking Organisation to work as a Definitions Data Manager Analyst in London based headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

They are looking for a Definitions Data Analyst, with Data Quality experience and experience within Critical Risk Data, also in scope of recent regulatory changes such as FDSF and BCBS239 someone to look at Key Data Elements (KDE).

You will implement the Key Data Element (KDE) ownership and manage the population of the KDE data definition template.

You will fix and manage Data Quality in an ongoing manner.

Establishing a Global data management organisation and governance where none exists

Working with disparate businesses to achieve a single agreed definitions

Population of required meta data and ownership principles

Aligning the needs of relevant stakeholders (business/function/region) and converting these disparate needs and desires to a prioritised, realistic business and implementation plan.

Logistical challenges of implementing data policies and standards

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or International Equivalent
  • Banking experience with good knowledge of investment banking and/or Retail Banking
  • Excellent written and verbal communications kills; presentation skills preferred
  • Focus on detail and consistency
  • Organized and well structured
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Extensive work experience in data management, with strong awareness of industry Data Quality practice, Tools and Processes
  • Strong research, analysis and report writing skills are essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills and client oriented
  • Self-motivated, focused, detailed oriented and able to work efficiently to deadlines are essential
  • Ability to work with a degree of autonomy while also being able to work in a collaborative team environment
  • High degree of personal integrity
