for an IT Program Manager with Operational Tax Expertise (f/m)
Project environment
Our client, a global Swiss Bank, is constantly assessing the need for and feasibility of changes to its legal structure in light of regulatory trends and requirements (TBTF). This resulted for example to establish a new subsidiary for its Retail & Corporate and WM business booked in Switzerland, as the bank communicated in the 3rd quarter financial results report last year. You are taking over an important IT Program Manager role within the area “Operational Tax” as part of the overall Program.
Tasks
• Manage and coordinate the open operational tax relevant questions resulting from the new legal entity setup in Switzerland front-to-back.
• Understand the technical and operational impact resulting from the new setup from an operational tax perspective.
• Screen, assess and allocate operational tax relevant issues to the appropriate business division/function.
• Identify potential operational tax issues which have not yet been addressed.
• Advise the affected functions with regard to the tax technical design of operational tax relevant processes.
• Track resolution of issues and proper and timely implementation of operational tax relevant processes in close collaboration with the process owners.
• As an Operational Tax Management Specialist you report to the Head Operational Tax Management.
Requirements
• Sound knowledge of operational taxes across the different business divisions (Wealth Management, Investment Bank and Global Asset Management).
• Profound understanding of the front-to-back processes affected by operational taxes across the Bank.
• Project management skills.
• Team player with assertiveness.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English (oral and written).
